Research on Service Value and Adaptability Zoning of Grassland Ecosystem in Ethiopia

The evaluation of the ecosystem service value (ESV) and its regionalization toward coordinating ecological protection socioeconomic development is great significance. In this study, we developed a classification method based on Random Forest algorithm feature optimization to identify grassland types. Then, proposed an approach quantitatively evaluate ESV in Ethiopia, which net primary production derived from remote sensing was used organic matter (ESV1), promoting nutrient circulation (ESV2), gas regulation (ESV3), RUSLE model soil conservation (ESV4), cumulative rainfall calculate water (ESV5). By integrating mean under various influencing factors, zoning map obtained. Our study found that more fine types can be well classified with overall accuracy 86.52%. And results are basis analysis. total ecosystems USD 105,221.72 million, ESV4 highest, accounting for 44.09% ESV. spatial analysis showed differences were due impacts types, elevation, slope, rainfall. It suitable grow elevation zone between approximately 1000 2000 m, larger slope are, greater is. conclude areas fourth sixth level (only 34.78% area, but 65.94% ESV) have better growth status potential. provide references bases support local coordination planning resources form reasonable resource utilization measures.
